In a retained search the hiring / recruiting assignment is completely outsourced to THE PROFILER. On receipt of the advance fee [which is a portion of the placement fee], the search for the 'most hirable candidate' is initiated.

Working in partnership with the client company's hiring managers, THE PROFILER helps create the job description and preferred candidate profile. This is followed by a comprehensive search for suitable and available talent. Preferred candidates are short-listed and put forth to the client company for interviewing and hiring. ENGAGED :
For an engaged search, the resources of THE PROFILER are channelised and committed to presenting a shortlist of rightly qualified and hirable candidates who either meet or exceed the client company's requirements. The interviewing process, salary offer meeting and follow-ups are all coordinated and managed by THE PROFILER.

THE PROCESS

Though the process is customized for each search, certain common methods/practices are involved.


THE SEARCH PROCESS - THREE PHASES


Phase One - Identify, Attract, Evaluate Potential Candidates

Develop Job Profile And Specifications
Together with the hiring manager, a set of rank specifications are developed. These include - role & responsibility of position, required professional qualifications and competencies, and personal characteristics that will determine the selection of the candidate.

Name Sourcing And Prospect Generation
With our extensive database and widespread networking capabilities, a search is initiated for a pool of prospective candidates that perhaps fit the specific search assignment.

Screening And Evaluation
Identified prospective candidates are personally interviewed and assessed, reference checks conducted and a more fitted and tighter selection of 2-4 candidates [number dependant on an individual assignment basis] is determined.


Phase Two: Introduction & Management Of Interview Process

Present Candidate Shortlist
The hiring manager will be presented with a recommended list of best available candidates that either meet or exceed the specified job profile.

Interview Process Management
Help in coordinating and managing the various interview rounds of the preferred candidates is provided by THE PROFILER. Feedback from the client company and candidates is obtained at all interview levels and communicated accordingly.


Phase Three - Close And Retain Candidates To Be Hired

Assist In Offer Preparation And Acceptance
THE PROFILER facilitates in preparation and presentation of the offer that will be mutually agreeable to both parties.

Follow-Up
THE PROFILER maintains a close relationship with the client company and selected candidate, especially during the initial employment period, to help ensure a smooth transition of the candidate into the company. Periodic follow-ups are carried out. Our objective is that the selected candidate be a long-tem contributor to the success of our client company.
